init.inc.php version 1.93 causing fatal error

On bridged install, with phpbb, when not logged in.

It works ok when logged in.

This is the error message generated;

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/clive/public_html/devel/include/init.inc.php on line 273


Note, version 1.92 works correctly on my install.
