template.html

I have a 'classic'-gallery...

What if I take the template.html from 'hardwired'
will that work?

It is because I want to get rid of the grey background I have in 'classic'  ;)

kind regards/ann-vibeke

just replace the background color for the surrounding table: edit http://ann-vibeke.dk/foto/themes/classic/template.html, find
Code: [Select]
<table width="100%" height="100%" border="0" cellpadding="20" cellspacing="20" bgcolor="#CCCCCC">and replace with
Code: [Select]
<table width="100%" height="100%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">

template.html looks like this: {GAL_NAME}
{GAL_DESCRIPTION}

{MAIN_MENU}
{LANGUAGE_SELECT_FLAGS}
{LANGUAGE_SELECT_LIST} {THEME_SELECT_LIST}

{ADMIN_MENU} {GALLERY}

If I then go into the source and change the code - it is'nt change afterwards...

If I choose to save it on my pc - It will be saved as 'template[1]txt

I'm afraid to spoil the color-change I have done untill now...

you will have to edit the local copy of template.html, not the one I posted a link to - I was just trying to illustrate which file to edit. If you installed coppermine using an auto-installer like fantastico, download the whole coppermine folder to your local hard drive using your favorite FTP app. Then edit the file (using a plain text editor - notepad.exe is fine). After applying the changes, upload the modified file back to your webspace (again using your FTP app), replacing the version on your server with the file you modified locally.
This is a most basic technique - you will definitely have to learn it when running your own website.

Now I have my background as I want it...

Thank you for using time on me...

It IS a very nice gallery ...and I'm pleased it also is in Danish...

I cannot figure out the time of yours...

In Denmark it is bedtime ;-)

I'm from Germany, so I'm in the same time-zone as you. However, I have unusual bed-times ;)
Glad you were able to fix this.
