1.3.3 upgrade question
« on: April 24, 2005, 06:31:42 am »

I am upgrading from 1.3.2 and want to make sure I am going about this properly -- just a couple questions. I have already updated my phpBB to 2.0.14 no problem -- 1.3.2 is a stock installation working fine with the default bridging installed.

I am hoping all I need do is:
1) Preserve - include/config.inc.php, anycontent.php, albums subdir and my bridge file
2) Upload all of the files in the 1.3.3 package, putting my files preserved in #1 back
3) run the update.php script

I do have a "custom" theme which is no more than the "Classic" CPG theme from 1.3.2 with my header and footer added - do I have to go through the 20 steps I read on theme changes in 1.3.3 or will I be OK with my current theme?

Of course, I have everything backed up but want to make sure I am not missing anything b4 proceeding.

Thanks in advance for the excellent gallery s/w,
Mike

You should be able to just upload the new coppermine files, re-apply any mods that you've made to the code itself.
