Can i integrate Coppermine into an webportal (not PHP-nuke!)

Hi, ive got a Homepage, based on PHP-Kit. its a webportal like phpnuke.
is there any way to integrate coppermine in it? mainy i want to know, can i use the user login from my webportal for coppermine, so taht all users have only one time to login..

if you have a similar user table in your portal as most bbs have, you could try looking at the existing bridge files and adjust one to your needs (this requires some in-depth-knowledge of the portal software). If you succeed, we'd appreciate you sharing your bridge file.
