.mov are thumbnails only?
« on: April 12, 2005, 05:04:16 am »

Sorry to ask , but I can't find the answer to this.  I am uploading quicktime videos and only able to view them back as thumbnails.  Is there a way to fix this? I have searched and can't find the answer.  How to I get this larger.  I have tried the edit description to increase the viewing window , but the .mov remains a thumbnail.  Can anyone help with this or did I just totally overlook something?

Thanks

Great, sorry, I put this in the wrong place.  Can someone please move it, I am sorry!! :-[

Your movie that you posted is only 160 x 120, it's displaying full size by the QT plugin.

If you want it to play some other size you have to pass the plugin a command to tell it to open up zoomed.

Coppermine doesn't support any kind of settings like that, so far as I'm aware so you would probably have to code it.

Thank you for your response.  I was unaware of the movie size.  I don't want to do anything not supported, and this probably sounds stupid but can I get it larger some how to correct this before I upload it?  Thanks again for all your help....

IMO there is very little point in zooming it after the movie has been created, it will just get grainy.

If you created the movie, then change the settings that you tell quicktime to encode the movie with.

Thank you very much, sorry to ask such novice questions, but doing the best I can to learn this software as it seems to have some awesome features, I hope to master.
Read the Docs several times, and I am trying to help a friend get his site set up for his kid..
Again, Thank you for being so helpful.  ;D
Please mark this solved as the issues are in the movie settings and not the software!
Have a great day...
