CPG1.2.0 final released
« on: November 17, 2003, 08:53:55 am »

Hi folks,

we have just released cpg1.2.0_final.
It has got the same features as cpg1.2.0rc2 (but users of cpg1.2.0rc2 are encouraged to upgrade to fix some bugs); there are no database manipulations necessary to upgrade from 1.2.0rc2 to 1.2.0final, just overwrite the files.
We removed the "no right-click" option (because it was silly in the first place and contained bugs) from the final, added the most recent language files and ironed out some bugs that existed in the release candidate.
No matter if you're doing a fresh install or upgrade from a previous version of coppermine, be sure to read the manual and documentation that comes with the package.
As there has been some confusion within the phpnuke community I want to make sure you understand: above release is only for the standalone version of coppermine (although it features bbs integration), it can not be used with phpnuke!

Cheers

(EditOnePic)
is it already implemented in this version?

There have been so many changes that Gaugau forgot to mention that this release has an important security fix for directory transversal bug in batch add

It is strongly recommended that everyone running RC2 replace it with the final release

I assume you mean the CVS?  Click the "Project" link at the top of the page, and then scroll to the bottom of that page.  Click "Browse CVS".
