Was there a specific error you got? If your site just went down due to high bandwidth then it sounds like a question for your web-host and not necessarily a CPG problem. If your web-server is unable to handle the heavy traffic, then I would advise switching. :-)

The site was down for a couple days, we're still not completly sure why. Our host hasn't emailed us about it, but we're trying to get in contact with him. The weird thing is, that when you click a direct link to the gallery, like for example..

http://www.temptingthrill.com/displayimage.php?album=120&pos=0

...it loads. Then I was able to log in from there and try to get into the coppermine settings and try to update some stuff to see if it would fix everything. It didn't really change anything, but i was able to view the main page while logged in. I could only log in from a direct link to a picture in the gallery though.

Any ideas?

looks like your index.php isn't working... looking at the source shows a partial html snippet.... Everything but the index.php file might be working ok, - which is why you can go to a direct link and navigate round from there... the album list button takes you to index.php?cat=6 so that won't work either.

check index.php

If I type www.temptingthrill.com

I get this with a view source :

Code: [Select]
‹<div id="fanwired" name="fanwired" style="position: absolute; left: 5px;"><br>
<a href='http://www.fanwired.com/' target='_blank' style='text-decoration: none; font-family: tahoma,sans-serif; font-size: 10px;'>
<img src="http://www.fanwired.com/fw.gif" border="0"></a><br><br></div>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.fanwired.com/fw.js"></script>

i.e. nothing much but the Fanwire logo... and the apparent weird character in the beginning of it... so unless it's a view source problem it's definitively not working for me... ??

That code is on the page after the </html> maybe that's what's causing the problem.

Nibbler, - does the page load correctly on your computer ?, - I mean, - is it a problem with the site, - or do you mean I have a problem with my browser or something ?
