Installing Modifications (Sorry if the wrong section)
« on: March 23, 2005, 03:58:07 am »

Sorry if this is in the wrong section. I'm new here and I'm still not sure where everything goes. Please pardon me. Anyways, I recently downloaded a few modifications for CPG v1.3.2, and I was wondering where to put the files. There was no readme or anything, so I don't know where to put them. Can anyone help me with this?

What kind of modifications and from where did you download them? If they are simply themes, then they go in the themes folder.

No. They were modifications. They were called mod_limit_files and mod_shop_all_themes

Both of those mods are for 1.3.0, not 1.3.2.  AFIAK you shouldn't install them.

For future reference - if you download a zip, look at the files and structure in it.  If you find those exact same files and structure in your Coppermine gallery, chances are very good you should simply replace your versions with the new versions.  Always back up your originals first.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll be sure not to use those.
