Quick Question about Image Linking

Well in my new theme I'm hoping to use Image Map to do the "Last Comments" , "Last Uploads" etc links - What would I put in the href="xx" to get this to work properly, is this even possible, or should I just scrap the idea?

your image map section needs to go into theme.php, right into
