Permission for external users
« on: March 16, 2005, 12:40:12 pm »

I have tried to solve this problem for weeks  :\'(..... maybe someone could help me ?

I have Coppermine installed on my own Apache server. I have created a user of Coppermine and everything is functioning, when this user is working on the server-computer. BUT when the same user try to logon to Coppermine from an other computer on the LAN, the "welcome" window appear BUT he is not logged into Coppermine. This user can se the Coppermine gallery and pictures but the user can NOT logon from the LAN PC.

Please, does anyone have an idea of what the problem could be ?

When I try to connect from the LAN computer I get the following message from Coppermine:

Notice: Undefined index: cat_thumb in C:\Apache\Apache2\htdocs\cpg132\themes\classic\theme.php on line 1046

Anyone that know what that means ?

it's safe to ignore notices (disable them in coppermine's config) if they don't mean anything to you. It's hard to tell what is wrong with your server config if it can be only accessed from within your LAN. However, this is not directly related to coppermine, it's a matter of server setup.
