Category dropdown on main page?
« on: March 12, 2005, 05:37:23 pm »

http://www.neoitems.net/

In the bottom lefthand corner of the page - there is the option of finding the relevant album/category by using a drop down box on the main page; is this possible with Coppermine gallery? :) Thanks!

Now I have had a closer look - I think its more 'Album drop down' than category drop down.

hmm... seems to be a bit much for a large gallery with dozens of albums. Maybe a more knowledgeable person can provide insight into the effect this would have on the performance of the first page. Otherwise, not a bad suggestion.

would be a nice additional feature, as long as users can decide if they want it or not. I suggest adding it via a placeholder token in template.html

I guess this would be more suitable as a suggestion to the Contrib project for plugins? :D
Thanks for the positive replies though!
