Batch file upload in coppermine
« on: March 07, 2005, 12:31:27 am »

Got a small problem, I am trying to do a batch upload, this is what I get.

Select directory
_vti_cnf Not writable.
This function allows you to add a batch of files that your have uploaded to your server by FTP.

Select the directory where you have uploaded your files.

what is the problem

read the batch-add section in the coppermine documentation. You have to ftp-upload files to your server (into a sub-folder of the albums-dir you have to create first) to be able to use batch-add. Are you sure you're using cpg1.2? If yes, you should update to the most recent stable version of coppermine (currently cpg1.3.2).
The folder "_vti_cnf" comes from the frontpage server extensions that reside on your webserver - not related, it's safe to ignore this folder.
