some images squeezed, not in imagemagick
« on: March 04, 2005, 06:35:55 am »

On my test gallery on home computer, I have imagemagick installed (OS X). A few (three out of sixty) are squeezed in GD vs. 2, but not imagemagick.

Unfortunately my webhost cannot allow imagemagick to be installed with ordinary user access. Again in GD2 some images are squeezed (the same ones I think).  The images vary in size.
I had set the image display table width to 680, locally and on my remote server.

.Any explanations for this, work arounds?

Thanks for your reply GauGau.
I've found the images are not squeezed as stills , but about 15% are squeezed (actually distorted by broadening them) in the slideshow. So I can't give a link to a specific image, only to the album.

This is browser-related: some (older) browsers can not change the dimensions of a pic using dhtml - the slideshow works as expected using Firefox and IE6. What browser are you using?
