let me get this strate....

So after looking in the docs and playing with coppermine for hours I have come under the impression the users can have there own albums, but they have to be created by an ADMIN?! So every time I get a new user I have to create a album for him/her? Is there a mod that can work around this? I really would like for my users to have an album the moment they sign-up.

Please let me know if i missed something.

check you config page...users can create there own albums if you let them :)

My config is set to yes. Users should be able to create albums... but they can't. maybe im missing something. i guess the better quistion is where do my users go to create there albums.

it will be on the top, (similar to your admin options)...check your group options ???

Sorry, I guess it was my skin.  ??? Anyways, if anyone is else is wondering what your users have to do. here are the steps.
Login,
Click "My Gallery"
Click "Create / order my albums"
They can create albums from here.
   
It still would be nice if there were an option that created an album automatically. I'll post in the mod request. :) Thanks everyone, and sorry about that. :)

will only be available if you allow users to have a personal gallery (in coppermine's group panel).
