PHP/MP3 integration help needed
« on: March 01, 2005, 04:36:09 pm »

Hello,
Fabulous software first of all.  Thanks.
I'm planning to use CPG to store MP3s, does anyone know how to call embedded images within MP3 files in PHP?

Help would be greatly apprecaited.

I've made a plugin for the next version of coppermine to read the ID3 tag info from mp3 files. I'll see if I can add this into the plugin aswell. Can you point me to a file with such an embedded image ?

Thanks for the reply.
Having googled yesterday I found several solutions to what I needed.  First the getID3.org, PHP scripts that read all MP3 tags, secondly, an app that uses it already www.ampache.org

I like CPG's interfaces and use it already for photo management, but for I think I'll use Ampache for music.
Is CPG planning to stretch its programming to music management?  I'm certain you would blow all others away.
