New Files List
« on: February 28, 2005, 06:10:21 pm »

I have searched the board, but am unable to find an answer to what I presume is a simple question: How do you remove files from the New File List once they have been batch added to an album. They seem to remain there forever.

Thanks

Coppermine doesn't move files around after they have been added to the database - they remain where they are. That's why we recommend to come up with a folder structure within the albums folder of your webspace that mimmicks the category/album structure of your gallery - it's not mandatory, but it will make it easier for you to batch-add files you ftp-uploaded. For details, consult the documentation that comes with coppermine.
Short answer to your question: you do not remove files at all from the list; those that are new are pre-selected (checkbox is ticked), those that already exist in your db aren't ticked.
