Links are not displayed
« on: February 25, 2005, 03:03:10 pm »

Hi,
so I've got a question: what has to be changed, if I want to allow postet Links to be displayed?
The problem is: links, which are postet as comments, are only shown as: (...) and censored.
The best would be, if the links would be clickable ;)

How to fix this problem?
Thanks so far.

not sure what you mean: when I post a comment like
Quote
bla http://foobar.tld/whatever.html aargh
the url in it get's displayed as expected, with the url being clickable. Post a link to your site (preferably a deep link to a pic with a comment that is supposed to show a link in it), together with a test user account (non-admin).

Hm. I always got the problem. But now I tested it again and it works fine. So no clue. Could it be that links that are too long get censored?

yes, that's possible - allow more space for each comment (in coppermine's config) by changing "Maximum length of a comment" there.
