backup filenames
« on: April 03, 2005, 08:09:42 am »

hi there, just after some advice on what my next step should be

ive transfered webhosts, my old host had an older version of the gallery installed (not sure which old version) and the backup i downloaded from it was called "cop2.gz"

so now im with my new host - i install the gallery (latest version) and the backup that is there is called "copp2.gz" so of course, uploading "cop2.gz" did nothing useful - so i changed the name, on the off chance that it would work to "copp2.gz"

still nothing, is there any way i can upload my old backup to this new version of the site?

i checked around and couldnt find any questions that were like this one so i hope this is a fresh question, and that im not bothering you guys too much.

Unpack the backup and upload the files via FTP. This backup feature is not a part of coppermine, so I can't tell you anything about it.
