I was just posting to bring to light the current condition of a website that you are affiliated with: www.WeHaveNoodz.com    For those of you reading this who don't know what this site is, they go to websites like FaceTheJury.com, WouldYouHitThis.com, etc., and take girls private pictures. Then, without the girls permission, they post them on their website for all to see. When girls do find out, the site managers demand that the girls make a sign saying that they were owned by them in order to get the photos removed. If girls put up a fight, people will come back through and REPOST the photos. They also have message boards, which is "open season" to degrade every woman and child posted on there. They call them derogatory names like "slut" "*beep*" "bitch" and "whore" while also commenting on how great they look naked. How would you feel if your daughter/wife/sister was a victim of this? Sites like FTJ and WYHT are just people trying to have fun. Another one of my concerns is that WeHaveNoodz members have been taking the photos of girls they know are minors (as it is stated in each profile) and posting them. This is CHILD PORN. That's right, that is VERY ILLEGAL. In order for minors to get their pictures removed, they have to first prove that they are underage. There is a group of people in the process of bringing legal attention to this. They want to make sure that there is high media coverage of this event, due to the fact that minors are involved. In the process of the proceedings, the good name of Copermine Photo Group would undoubtedly be brought up. I was just wondering how the CPG and the groups the are affiliated with them feel about the negative media attention that they could be receiving. Remember, not only are they STEALING these photos (which goes into copyright laws and DMCA), they are also posting photos of nude minors (child pornography). This is like an invite for pedophiles to flock to the WHNz website, where they could potentialy find the child. Every year, 1 in 5 minors are sexually assulted online. This site is contributing to this number. I am angered that a site like this would have anything to do with a site like that!

We are not affiliated with this group.  What post references this website, other than yours?

If a site uses Coppermine to display images, we aren't responsible for that site and have no authority to police it.

Have you taken your concerns to the webmaster of that site, or their host, or their ISP?

You may have no right to police them, but the bottom of EVERY page full of nude girls that are on there without permission has "Powered By Copermine Photo Gallery" Even if you don't have any say over what they post, I am disgusted that you would let such a site carry your name. You're not required to power their site. If someone wants to tell me how to find their host or ISP, I'd love to get that information! The webmaster thinks that it's one big joke and could care less.

You have misplaced your anger.  We aren't the responsible party.  We developed the software that this person decided to use on that particular site.  We didn't go to this person and say, "Hey, you should use Coppermine to display your pictures."  We can't tell this person to stop using our free, open source software, any more than Ford can tell a drunk driver to stop buying and driving their cars.

"Powered by Coppermine" is a tag line.  We require it on every site that uses Coppermine.  It gives credit for the gallery software to the developers, it doesn't tell people Coppermine is responsible or owns the content of that site.  We can't tell one person to stop displaying it and require everyone else to display it.

If you want to investigate them, try any service that tells you who owns the domain, like http://centralops.net/co/.

Please understand that 'powered by coppermine' means purely that the software he is using is coppermine.  We do not host this, or any sites, other than this one you are posting on.

This site disgusts most, if not all, of us the same way it does you, but as has been said, there is nothing we can do about it.

And we have no say over who uses our application.  We have no funds to bring legal action to prevent them using it, even if we did.

I wanted to thank all of you for your great information. A group of us have this leagal aspect covered. We just wanted to cover every possible angle. I would like to apologize for accusing you and your group. We are just incredibly repulsed by this and want to bring down everyone affiliated with this site. Thank you for all your great information. Ok, for a start, I'm Frank... An admin over at that site and the coppermine gallery. I'd firstly like to say that everything that is on our site is completely out of our hands. If there is anything underaged on our server, then it's either been overlooked or it's been put there because a person on their profile has stated the wrong age.

We cannot be held responsible for those actions. We run a php message board, all links posted on there are verified as much as possible before the pictures are being added to the Coppermine gallery. If anybody is found out to be underage and provide proof, we do remove the pictures in a haste.

We make the people that get posted post a proof of age picture for various reasons, the main one would be people claiming to be underage just to get their pictures down right away and cause a fuss and try to threaten/scare the other users of the site. If we have no proof of age, there is no way to tell if they're underage or not.

And the pictures that get posted from the other site aren't copywritten, they are not being posted/sold for profit, they are posted on a free message board, if you want to see stuff like that, where you have to pay for sponsors and to see the gallery, you can visit a site called "http://www.RatingSiteInsider.com". Them and their owner do things the wrong way, have knowingly underage people displayed in their gallery and do nothing about it.
