Which portal/blog around Coppermine ?
« on: February 15, 2005, 11:53:25 am »

Hello,

I'm running a small family website and I've installed a couple of PHP package like Coppermine for the photo album or phpGedView for the Genealogy part.

I really like Coppermine and it is the "heart" of the website.

Now, I would like to build something around it to look like a simple portal.
I've been looking at some of the portal softwares like Xoops or Mambo but those are quite heavy and complicated for what I'm trying to do and not always easy to integrate with Coppermine. I thought that maybe a blog software would be sufficient ... with some event/calendar modules.

So, my question is ... which free PHP portal or blog would you recommend for a nice and easy integration with Coppermine?
My first concern is a about the look & feel of the website (same or similar templates/themes, fonts, color schemes).
Integration of the users would be nice as well but not mandatory.

Thanks in advance.

You could try checking out CpgNuke? It's built around Cpg, so would probably fit the bill!
