Making a static link to a picture
« on: February 10, 2005, 05:23:08 am »

I have what I think is a basic question : How do you give a link to a picture to someone?

I have the problem that when I send someone a link like "http::/site.com/pictures/displayimage.php?album=1&pos=1"  then depending on what sort order they have the album a different picture can show up than I intend.

Is there an absolute link that I can send them other than an e-card that will bring them to a specific picture on a specific album?
(Coppermine 1.3.2)

Thanks for the best photo album software out there!  ::)

Do search boards before posting your question.

Anyways, on displayimage.php (intermediate pic page) you will find the URL for that picture in the File Information table. This URL will be static and unique for that picture.
