Multiple Users?

Im kind of new at this and I was wondering about some stuff:

I want to create a webpage where all my friends can share all their pictures they have taken and place them onto the coppermine program. Is that possible where they can create their own account on the program and upload their own pictures? Or is the coppermine program only suited for use of only 1 person? Any help would be appreciated to learn more about this program and how to use it! Thanks!
