Although the main coppermine entry page has a small blurb about the photos and a description you can enter. There not a lot of room to show this data on the main page. Would it make sense that the first page of the album might have a better layout than just all the thumbnails. Maybe a mod to include the Album preview image and some extra room for a detailed description of the album/album views/dates pictures were taken/ stuff like this.
I came across this site and love the layout and its got the basic idea.

Its more of a block structure on this site but I think you'll get the idea. Does anyone see any obvious problems with implmenting a "first album page" like this?
