Search Fields
« on: January 26, 2005, 04:40:55 pm »

Exactly what all fields are searched?  I thought it was including the keywords in the search, but when I tested it - that did not prove to be the case.  Thanks in advance!        - Lorri

I'm unclear about this myself and would love to find out the answer.

I never got this question answered, however I did find a workaround if anyone needs it.  While it does not search the keywords field - it does search the description and all the customs fields.  I assigned one of the custom fields as "People" and then put all the people in the picture in that field, ran a search and it worked.  Hope this helps!    - Lorri

It does search keywords, but it's picky about how you format them.

Separate them with spaces. If you look into search.inc.php you can see exactly what fields are searched.
