Creating a category within a category?
« on: November 08, 2003, 06:42:51 pm »

Is it possible to create a category within another, I have tried but it is all messed up. If you view my gallery

http://www.phelsumaweb.com/gallery/index.php

It has added three thumbs below the category which link to nothing, and then when you click on the "Phelsuma abbotti ssp." category it takes you to another category with yet another 3 thumbnails that link to nothing, what is the problem?

did you create at least one album in every category/subcategory? Only albums can contain pics, categories can't (they can only contain sub-categories and albums).

Hi,
I opened the link and edited that file but it still never worked  :?

I noticed that when I went into config that if i set the option: "Show first level album thumbnails in categories " to yes, that the gallery works how I like it, but it shows alot of thumbs on the index, but I want text. Does anyone have a clue what migtht be the problem?

Ok i logged in as admin into your site.

I just turned on debug mode and there is the trouble shown :o

Is your Coppermine 1.1 highly modified ?
Try updating to 1.2 RC2

At the moment i'm at work and don't have the Coppermine source here, so check yourself.
