display mp3 albums

Since cpg let us upload mp3 files and create mp3 albums, I want to use cpg to display mp3 albums.
What I want is: when a user clicks on a music album, normally, it will display the thumbnails of the items(lpictures) now I want it to display the link to that mp3 files for user to download.
My questions: - is this fairly easy to do?
                    - is it a good idea?
                    - what would I have to do to accomplish this task?
