CPGNuke vs. Coppermine

Is it true you cannot just take Coppermine Standalone 1.3.2 and put it into the modules folder of CPGNuke?

yes, that's true. That's why it's called "standalone" - to make it obvious you can't use it with nuke. Take a look at http://www.cpgnuke.com (although this is not phpnuke, but a full grown nuke clone).
