Does coppermine support upload to an external server?

Hi, Im out looking for a script like this to organize some pictures online, and I need to be able to upload pictures to the site. However, theres a slight problem. I dont have much webspace or bandwidth on my site, so I would like to actually host the images themselves on my FTP-server at home. Is this possible with coppermine, or will I need to run a webserver in order to do something like this?
