Corrupt images
« on: January 11, 2005, 07:00:40 am »

Hey guys,
Whilst backing up my gallery ready to transfer to my new host, I noticed alot of my images are messed up, I was wondering if anyone knew why this was happening??
Here is an example:

Could you please provide more details? Are these the ones online or backups? If online, could you post a link to a sample? Are you using Imagemagick or GD?

My server does not use ImagMagick or GD as the images are never resized (I asked my host and they said image magick is not installed)

Here is a direct link to the same image, but I have remote hosting blocked so you might not be able to see it:

All of these images are online and messed up.

So did you manually resize the thumbnails?

I can see the image you posted.

Are these images messed up when viewed individually only or also when viewed within the gallery?

if coppermine didn't resize the images, it didn't touch them, so messed-up images are not coppermine-related: either they were messed-up before you uploaded them, or the got corrupted during upload. Either way; nothing we could do or recommend.
