Please Help -- Main Page Issues
« on: January 09, 2005, 02:00:20 am »

Okay, so my gallery is located here- http://www.unfoolish-miracles.net/brittanym/gallery/cpg132/index.php and I'd really like to know how to get those albums off of the main page.

Also, since I have subcategories under some of the categories, it wont show the album or file amount beside of the category on the main page. Is there any way that I can fix that?

Your first question can be answered here: http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/manual.php#config_album_list

Look at "Show first level album thumbnails in categories"

Your second question:  Categories only show the statistics of the albums that are directly under the category.

Search the boards, there may be a mod to do what you want, I'm not sure.

Look at "Show first level album thumbnails in categories"

You have to scroll down a little bit, but its in that section.

Please read the rest of the manual if you are unsure about things, and not just the specific section if you are still confused.

I am only unsure of how to get the albums under categories off of the main page. I looked over the whole manual and I still don't understand how to do that.

By the way, I am a pretty dumbfounded person so you will have to excuse me.

On your config page, look for Show first level album thumbnails in categories.  Change it to no.
