Coppermine gallery Errors (Database error)
« on: January 03, 2005, 10:35:12 am »

Righty, my gallery was working last thing last night, woke up this morning and went to upload photos to it, and the index.php file gave this error.

(when debug mode is turned on manually in the database)

Quote
While executing query "SELECT aid FROM cpg_albums WHERE category = " on 0

mySQL error: You have an error in your SQL syntax.  Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1

I havent done anything to the gallery, as I said I just went to the page this morning.

One thing I have noticed is that if any of the php files actually loads beyond giving me the above error, it shows nothing, except for "Array" and a blank empty textbox, a perfect example of it is the config.php file, its just a table of "Array" and blank text boxes.

Any ideas whats caused this? or how to fix it?. My host is doing their best but I think they are as flummoxed as me as to why its screwing up. (fresh installs on new databases, and new folders also screw up in this manner)

Did your host upgrade PHP last night?  If they did (upgrade to 4.3.10), did they upgrade their Zend optimizer to 2.5.7?
