I lost my themes.
« on: December 26, 2004, 07:42:48 am »

Hi,

Could someone please tell me why I get a mostly blank page when I change themes?

Here's my default theme (customized by me): http://www.lotteryofbirth.com

Here's what happens when I try to change to the Classic:
http://www.lotteryofbirth.com/lob/index.php?lang=english&theme=classic

Thanks in advance.

you are fighting a browser issue it looks like, the site comes up fine in firefox, but not in ie.

I would immediately suspect something with CSS.

I noticed your content type is set to utf-8, you might try switching it in the config and see if that makes a difference.

donnoman,

Thanks for your feedback.
I changed language to English and character encoding to Western, but problem persists. You are right that it works well in Firefox and only problem is with ie.

However, if it is CSS, why? Doesn't the CSS of the new theme kickin when I switch themes? I only changed the CSS of my default theme, 2bornot2b.

That leads me to think it must be something I did to the html. I did change things around a lot.

How would you troubleshoot this?

did you mess with anything outside fo the themes folder?

Like index.php or displayimage.php? If you did I would start there.

Re-upload Classic's theme folder... everything in it. Make sure it's clean.  Re-test classic.
