Has anyone experience the following message when logging into admin.php "critical error" "script called without the required parameter/s". It doesn't seem to affect the running of the gallery but I would appreciate advise on how to get rid it.

BTW my host server runs PHP4 - I have since come across a post referring to this. It could be to do with an adjustment on the php.ini file. I can't seem to locate this. I tried phpinfo.php file but access is denied. Can anyone please advise.

my guess: you entered the url http://youdomain.com/coppermine/admin.php manually, right? Well, you mustn't!
If I'm wrong, do a search on this board, this has been asked before...

this is a Great board, really helped me out of some probs from time to time. Thanks guys.
But now I really need your help.
I probably fumbled with the php.ini file. :oops:
In "doc root" i specified path to CPG. Result is that phpinfo.php now uses the wrong template (hardwired). I changed "doc root" back to default (no value), but phpinfo.php still uses the wrong template. I even replaced phpinfo.php in CPG. directive. Still the same. What happened to the default one.
What can be done. HELP please.

Delete your cookies for for site from your browser, and see if that works.

deleting cookies from the browser doesn't solve the problem. maybe you or someone else can help me out of this mess.

when changing settings in php.ini, make sure to re-start your webserver, (you don't have to reboot the whole server, just stop and re-start the webserver service).

Here's what i have tried out without succes.
Replaced php.ini, replaced phpinfo.php, deleted all cookies and restarted webserver. But still phpinfo.php is generated on a Hardwired template.
Any new suggestions are welcomed

Problem solved.
It seemed that phpinfo.php was overwritten by some other file from hardwired theme.
:roll: Replaced it with the original.
