Well the whole idea of these boards is that someone with a problem can search for what others did to solve it.

So by removing your problem, and just leaving a post saying 'problem solved', denies other users with the same problem the answer how to fix it.

Please don't do this.  It doesn't matter if you think it will make you look foolish, it won't.  There's plenty of posts here I've made that are not correct, but I leave them, along with the correct info.
