Is it possible to add a button on the display image page which emails the image details to the administrator?

there will be a "report to admin/moderator" button on the displayimage.php in the next version of coppermine (the current devel version cpg1.4.1), so what you're requesting will (sort of) be part of the next release. I don't think there's a backport of this feature (yet), nor do I consider a backport to be a good idea - my suggestion is to wait a bit for the current devel version to be released as stable.
