Is coppermine for me?
« on: December 09, 2004, 11:22:01 pm »

Hello all the coppermine fans!

I have been following coppermine for a long time and thought you've got a great team working on this project.  And I really like its forum friendly structure and features.

I am in a process to offer digital photo printing to my community members which uses phpbb.  My questions is if I use coppermine to host pictures that are for print purpose, will the script be able to handle huge files like 17MB per photo upload and for many of them?

Please let me know your thoughts or any recommendations for printing purpose gallery application.

Thank you very much!

coppermine is able to handle such large files, but your server might not be. Check the following threads that describe what server settings have an impact:

and the other sticky threads on http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?board=22.0
