Uploading problem
« on: December 05, 2004, 12:44:36 am »

I have been messing with the Category setup and albums for almsot a week now and it's still not working. Heres the issue, I made 2 Categies and 5 albums for my site. It's lsited on the bottom as well. Heres the link http://www.247xtreme.com/upload1/. Now when I had my friend test out uploadign a file it gives him the following error "Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files ". Now mind you on the bottom it says "0 files in 5 albums and 2 categories with 0 comments viewed 0 times". So whats the deal? I'm setting up the album so that after the user uploads the file he can pick which category/Album to palce the file into. Example is user1 uplaod a screenshot from everquest2 he can uplaod it then after it's uplaoded he picks the category and it's placed there.

Do you allow registered users to upload into the albums you created?  You need to look in your groups control panel.

You also need to make sure the albums you created allow people to upload into them.

Categories don't get pictures, only albums get pictures.
