Build Themes
« on: November 03, 2003, 04:38:08 am »

Hi there,

I'm a newbie here and have two questions:

 can you give me some hints how to build new themes?
 is it possible to have the pics folders on another server? if yes, how?

Thanks for your help.

  • this has been asked very often, please search the board first
  • check the faq
  • two questions, two threads!
  • support requests go into the support board
  • building new themes: take a look at the default template that comes with the package: in template.html, you have your static html. A new template has to contain everything that is there in brackets, plus the <script...></script> stuff at the start.

In theme php there's your menus and everything that is dynamic (php)
In style.css, there are your colors
  • It's possible to have pics on another server, but very complicated and requires in-depth knowledge[/list:u]GauGau

P.S. Moved your thread from "general discussion" to "cpg 1.2.0 support"
