batch add: No list of pictures
« on: December 03, 2004, 08:51:38 am »

Hi there. I'm looked around the forum to try and solve my problem, but can't seem to find the right topic.
So here's my problem, I hope I'm in the right forum for this.

I've just put CPG 1.2.0 on my E107 site and was able to finally get the batch add to read directories after editing the scandir function in searchnew.php. But when I click the directory that has the pictures I want to add in them there is no list of new pictures. I have only been able to upload pictures (well one so far) via the "one at a time" way. I got so many, however, this will be a pain.

Here's my specs:
Apache 1.3.33 (win32)
PHP 5.0.2
MySQL 4.0.22
E107 v0.617

all on my own system.

album dir structure I'm trying to add is albums/skylar/09_19_04/

site is located at http://digitalraver.ath.cx

I hope that's enough info.

First, if you want supporters to help, and you run a password protected gallery, you will need to supply us with a test user account and password (NOT admin).  This also applies if we need to login to test uploads etc.

Second, the e107 port has been provided by the e107 people, and they have changed the code to do this.  We do not know what they changed, so we find it hard to help.  Their version is also an out of date version, 1.2.0 was quickly replaced by 1.2.1 because of bugs, and we are now on 1.3.2.  None of the developers or supporters of coppermine still have a 1.2x version to test on.

The fact that you had to edit the code in the first place indicates a problem, as that was not something experienced with the version we released.  Without knowing what your original code was, and what changes you made, we cannot help.

You should ask on the e107 boards to see if any other of their users have experienced the same problems.
