User Counter
« on: November 30, 2004, 08:36:15 am »

Sorry I couldn't find anything exact in the with the search function....

Sorry for my horrible english anyway.... ;o)

It seems to me that the user counter does allow an reload so if someone reloads the page with i.e. F5 the counter shows one more hit.

Why this and how can I change that behavior ??

Thank's a lot in advance !!

Upgrade to 1.3.2.

The hit counter should not be affected by such reloads.

Hmmm I think it's a bug, sorry but:

- if i reload just havin' the main page, the counter does not count, that's ok
- if i go into an album and look to some pictures, go to the main page again, and aigin in some albums and so on, the counter counts up, but not just once....that's not ok. I can send you my webadress if you want to try ??!!)

I will do the upgrade anyway and i hope it's better then.....(did you change anything regarding the counter in the new "release" ??)

Thanks a lot in advance,

L.

Yes, this was a known issue with older versions if I remember correctly, which is why I suggested upgrading.  It is fixed in 1.3
