modify sortorder by custom fields

I have created custom userfields for additional pic informaties. In the album level you have 3 sortorder buttons wich sort by filename, date and title. Trying to find out in the theme file how to replace these with the custom fields. suggestions? thank you.

you posted this question on the "feature requests" board, where only requests for features in future versions of coppermine are meant to be posted in. As you probably are looking for an answer now and not in several months I moved your question to the support board. Please respect board rules in the future.
