gallery exhibitions
« on: November 25, 2004, 04:24:35 pm »

I am currently working on 1.3.2. My intention is to support a photographic society with the gallery, so members will have albums and (generic) collections will feature themed contributions, one such collection will be (moderated) entries for an exhibition. The photos entered into the exhibition category will come from existing albums. That is to say, photographic content will follow a basic workflow within the gallery, after users upload to their personal albums a moderator will copy selected entries into reserved categories: so the same photo appears twice within the application, but preferably saved once. Is it possible to duplicate a photo in this way?

Not in the current stable version but the development version will. However, the dev version is not ready for production use and comes with no support. And we do not know when it will be released for beta, so there's no estimate on the final release.
