What is the easiest way to make a categorie only viewed by people who have registered and loged in?

I have searched these forums, and looked all over the place in all the settings but can't find a thing

The easiest way is to not make it a category but an album, not in a category, private, viewable only those who have permission (members)

Instead of using a category to hold the pictures use an album to hold them, albums don't have to be in categories, there is a setting in album properties to make it private, and there is a setting in your config panel to make private albums only viewable by members. Remember you asked for the easiest way....

You can't make a category private (not without some coding) but categories hold albums and you can have as many albums not in a category as you want. and they all can be private, not visible (which I think would be the point of private categories).

I have categories made, then in each cat i have several albums

I had a look, and in my config there is no option to make private albums only viewable by members

And there isn't an option when you do to an ablums properties to make it private either
