I think it would be good if users could kind of subscribe to there pictures, and get emails when things happen, like a new rating or a comment

It would be better if the user could have it set to always ghet comment and rating notification, just comment or just rating notification, or turn it off so they dont get any at all or choose when they uplaod a pic wether they want notifications of comments or ratings, what do ya think?

Just don't allow AOL users to receive the notifications. They cause forum owners grief because they report post notifications as spam.
