Data in Biography field not displaying
« on: November 12, 2004, 07:26:45 pm »

My phpInfo is attached.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Log in as Admin
  • Create a new user, making sure to put something in the Biography field.
  • Edit that user.  Notice the Biography field is empty.
  • Login as the new user
  • Go to "My Profile"
  • You will now see that the data did indeed get written to the database

So are you saying it does not display when admin views it in the usermanager, or all users other than the actual id owner cannot see it in the user profile?

It appears that the problem only exists in the User Manager.

Ok, thanks I'll look into it.

OK, found the problem.  You were correct, the biog info did not display in the edit user page, and would result in the loss of the bio if updated here at a later date.

Fixed and committed, in dev usrmgr.php version 1.29.
