Disable options

Goodafternoon,

I would like to disable some functions but i can't find where i can do that.
I would like to disable the comment function and want to remove the standard album which is created.

Ive looked in index.php and every theme.php but couldnt find where to remove it.
Removing the code makes it not work, so please can someone help me!?! ??? :\'( :-\\

even if i delete the album it still re-appears

There is no standard album created by coppermine.
