the images into separate folders
« on: October 30, 2004, 12:18:40 pm »

I believe that is preferibile to subdivide the insertion of files (images, mp3, videos) and their resize (or manipulation) into separated folders;

the advantage is for future implementations;
for example: to insert text on photo is more simple to manage the code;  also for video and mp3 it is preferibile to have folders separate;
the data control is greater

the database keeps track of files, the human doesn't have to. Coppermine doesn't move around files at all on upload, to reduce the propability of things breaking because of improper permissions and so on. This has been discussed in the past already. Unless you bring forward valid other issues, I'm afraid your request is being turned down.
