How do I Remove Sort options on Thumbnails Page ?
« on: October 29, 2004, 06:43:34 am »

Hi,
I am trying to seemlessly use a coppermine gallery in a site and woulf like to know how I remove the sorting titles on the thumbnails page.
For Example
On this page I have managed to remove all the bits I dont want except for the Sorting Options in the top right hand corner.
Title, Filename & Date.

http://www.dynamicdolphindesigns.com/tattoomagic/thumbnails.php?album=1

Thanks to anyone that can help.

Open your theme/theme.php and find this code;

Code: [Select]
// HTML template for title row of the thumbnail view (album title + sort options)
$template_thumb_view_title_row = <<<EOT

                        <table width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
                        <tr>
                                <td width="100%" class="statlink"><h2>{ALBUM_NAME}</h2></td>
                                <td><img src="images/spacer.gif" width="1"></td>
                                <td class="sortorder_cell">
                                        <table height="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
                                        <tr>
                                <td class="sortorder_options">{TITLE}</td>
                                <td class="sortorder_options"><span class="statlink"><a href="thumbnails.php?album={AID}&page={PAGE}&sort=ta" title="{SORT_TA}">&nbsp;+&nbsp;</a></span></td>
                                <td class="sortorder_options"><span class="statlink"><a href="thumbnails.php?album={AID}&page={PAGE}&sort=td" title="{SORT_TD}">&nbsp;-&nbsp;</a></span></td>
                                        </tr>
                                        <tr>
                                                <td class="sortorder_options">{NAME}</td>
                                                <td class="sortorder_options"><span class="statlink"><a href="thumbnails.php?album={AID}&page={PAGE}&sort=na" title="{SORT_NA}">&nbsp;+&nbsp;</a></span></td>
                                                <td class="sortorder_options"><span class="statlink"><a href="thumbnails.php?album={AID}&page={PAGE}&sort=nd" title="{SORT_ND}">&nbsp;-&nbsp;</a></span></td>
                                        </tr>
                                        <tr>
                                                <td class="sortorder_options">{DATE}</td>
                                                <td class="sortorder_options"><span class="statlink"><a href="thumbnails.php?album={AID}&page={PAGE}&sort=da" title="{SORT_DA}">&nbsp;+&nbsp;</a></span></td>
                                                <td class="sortorder_options"><span class="statlink"><a href="thumbnails.php?album={AID}&page={PAGE}&sort=dd" title="{SORT_DD}">&nbsp;-&nbsp;</a></span></td>
                                        </tr>
                                        </table>
                                </td>
                        </tr>
                        </table>

EOT;

Now replace it with this;

Code: [Select]
// HTML template for title row of the thumbnail view (album title + sort options)
$template_thumb_view_title_row = <<<EOT

                        <table width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
                        <tr>
                                <td width="100%" class="statlink"><h2>{ALBUM_NAME}</h2></td>
                                <td><img src="images/spacer.gif" width="1"></td>
                                <td class="sortorder_cell">

                                </td>
                        </tr>
                        </table>

EOT;

imo you butchered the theme engine - the page you posted is far from valid...
