Inserting the COMMENTS option.
« on: October 28, 2004, 02:43:34 pm »

Hi! I've made myself a page of my VIDEOS, using the same layour i've designed for my CPG.
But i'm getting stucked on the .PHP language (maybe i'm too newbee on this), and i'd like to ask for some help.

This is what happens:

I wish to add the COMMENTS option in this page, it's a normal .HTML page, with my videos links, and i'd like to have the INSERT YOUR COMMENTS box avaliable to my visitors. Is that possible, How?

That's it.
Many thanks in advance!

static html pages can't contain dynamic content. You could easily come up with a form on the static html page that posts into a php page within the coppermine folder - this php page would then have to make up the identity of the user who was posting and what pic/video the post was refering to, and write everything into the database. Such a file hasn't been created yet afaik, and it's the part of the request that is more complicated. I guess you're in for some php coding if you actually need this.
