Mode Changing (777)
« on: October 29, 2003, 02:21:35 pm »

Well, was that a pain in the A$$. The error (expected) page said I had to change the mode to 777 in three directories. Albums, User Pics and Include.

I finally got User Pics to go away on the error page but Albums and Include resisted anything to do with 777.

I finally ended up converting every directory and file in the cpg 1.2 directory to 777.

What did I do by doing that? Anything bad? Good? Mediocre? What will I have to change back when I want to reduce the permissions?

Thanks in advance for your patience.

just a matter of security. If you don't care, leave it as it is - your gallery will run.
